Gynecologist & Obstetrician
Dr. Oche Martin Ejembi is a senior Gynecologist in Lagos. He undertook his basic medical training at the prestigious Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria from 1979 to 1984, graduating with distinction in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
He worked with First City Hospital, Sofia and at Alexender Bathenberg University Hospital, Sofia. He returned to Nigeria for the mandatory Housemanship which he undertook at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria in 1985.
He then did his National Youth service at the Nigeria Military School Clinic between 1986-1987.
Having been awarded the Ivan Vassof Foundation scholarship for postgraduate studies, he then returned to Sofia to pursue his postgraduate residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the prestigious Research Institute for Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Maternity home.
He graduated magma-cum-laude from the Postgraduate College in 1991 and was awarded the specialist certificate (M.D) Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Dr Ejembi returned to Nigeria in 1991 and was employed by the Eko Hospitals as Consultant Obstetrician in 1992 and rose to become Chief Consultant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Eko hospital by 1995.
Dr. Ejembi left the Eko Hospital group in 1997 and established Queens Specialist Hospital, where he is currently the Chief Medical Director and Consultant.
