About Dr. Prof. Olawale Sulaiman

Prof. Wale Sulaiman is an indigene of Kwara State, Nigeria. He attended the famous St. Gregory’s College, Obalende, Lagos State, Nigeria after which he was awarded a Nigerian Academic scholarship to study medicine at The Medical University, Varna, Bulgaria in Europe. His interests in Nerve and Spinal cord injury and regeneration research led him to the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada where he completed a PhD in Neurosciences and a Neurosurgery residency at University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He is board-certified in Neurosurgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and completed two world-renowned clinical fellowships in both complex nerve reconstruction (Louisiana State University, US) and complex spine surgery (Medical College of Wisconsin, US). In addition to his clinical expertise, Prof. Sulaiman has extensive research experience in both nerve and spinal cord injury and regeneration and has authored several peer reviewed publications and book chapters in these areas.

Professor Wale Sulaiman is an accomplished Neurosurgeon and Researcher, a skilled Physician Executive and leader, a philanthropist, and a successful entrepreneur. He started RNZ GLOBAL in 2012 as a healthcare development, operations and management company focused on African region.
